My name is Christian Vaatz. I am an investment strategist and a fund manager. Previously I used to work as a portfolio manager for a big bank here in Cape Town, but then decided to open my own small company, because the whole big corporate mentality got onto my nerves. You spend more time filling out forms, going to fruitless meetings and making sure that the paperwork is in order than doing actual research. It has paid off. I have been able to outperform everybody else in my class (multi asset – high equity) over 7 years (currently my longest track record).
